Summary

The witch doctor's magic appears to be working. A dozen people have already died and many more are falling prey to this mysterious illness that is plaguing the village. What is this killer disease that is more powerful than an angry elephant, more terrifying than a mighty leopard, more deadly than a roaring lion? Will the Jungle doctor be able to fit together the pieces of the puzzle in time? Another thrilling adventure from Paul White based in Mvumi hospital, Tanzania.

Great Story

Another great book from Dr. Paul White. He gave his life to help the people of Tanzania, both medically, communally and spiritually. This book is one in a series of many, and records the anecdotal true accounts of his life and times - his work and relationships with the local tribes-people.

Far from patronising, this approach is humble and respectful, tempered with wisdom and insight. The stories are wholesome and light-hearted, though unflinching from the many difficulties, hardships and troubles encountered. Gentle good humour flows throughout, with a strong sense of sincere friendship, camaraderie, and common goals.

Love is ever-present, both relationally and practically, with a clear, simple presentation of the gospel message in word and deed. Dr Paul White's life and mission is vibrant and exemplary, and many valuable lessons can be learned.

A well-written, engaging story that is both heart-warming and true. Narration is good, with Paul Michael's well-placed, easy manner. Another gem. I do hope Audible releases the whole series.
