About this listen

Tyler Bennett and I hate each other.

The annoying jerk my parents forced me to play with as a kid grew up to be a sexy, grumpy baker who still can’t stand me. Sure, maybe I enjoy our bitter banter, his cocky smirk, his chocolate chip cookies. But there’s a reason I can’t play nice.

You’re wondering why—if I hate the guy so much—did I agree to be his fake date to his cousin’s wedding? Look. Just because I love being a pain in the man’s well-formed butt doesn’t mean I want someone else torturing him. Especially not the ex-fiancée who left him for his best friend.

One night of faking it takes an unexpected turn. Heated glances, lingering touches, that arrogant mouth against mine. One night of getting swept away in an attraction that maybe isn’t so one-sided after all.

Aside from this new, tentative friendship laced with sexual tension, something else has grown out of that night.

And Tyler and I will have to figure it all out...in about nine months.

Author’s note: Just One Favor is an enemies-to-lovers stand-alone romance with a hot side of longing, sexually charged banter, a broken hotel bed, and chocolate cream pie.

Sweet (and sassy) enemies to lovers story

Oh this is a fun one- this is an enemies to lovers romance and the chemistry really rises to the top. Tyler and Olivia have always had to be in the same circle of friends and family but they hated each other. I loved how much Olivia took part of the blame and was a bit mean to Tyler because she liked him so much. And then, she had the opportunity to right a wrong to help Tyler through a difficult period (to show up his ex-gf who was with the man she cheated on Tyler with). Well paced, really sweet characters and an overall fun ride, this was a great enemies to lovers romance.

I listened to the audiobook with Lila Winters (new to me) and Patrick Zeller. I love their reading- Lila, especially, had a wonderful voice and perfect for the character. Patrick Zeller also played his roles really well but I expected that. A great narration for a fun story.

Fantastic Story & Listen🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥Hot!

This is a wonderfully written and entertaining “enemies to lovers” romance, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire book. I adored the two lead characters, Tyler Bennett and Olivia Sanchez, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. The two have known each other since childhood, their parents are friends and they too were friends until they were not. Olivia had moved out of town but is back to spend time with her Mom who lives by herself since her dad died. Tyler is busy running his own business, a bakery in town and when he learns his cheating ex is going to be in attendance of his friend’s wedding, he is not happy. Olivia overheard the conversation and volunteered to go with him, she figured she should do something nice for him for all the mean things she had done to him while growing up. At first he says no thank you, but changes his mind after hearing some news about his ex. The chemistry between these two is explosive and undeniable, and when they finally give into it, there are fireworks. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully plotted story with plenty of witty banter, drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, and some steamy romance. Stephanie Rose, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Lila Winters and Patrick Zeller did a great job bringing the characters and their stories to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that suited that character’s persona, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty banter with ease, without missing a beat. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.
