A small victory against censorship

The brief introduction included with this audiolibro explains its origins in avoiding the censorship of the Franco era. As such it provides details of rural poverty and lack of resources. At the same time it is a moving account of a young child growing up in a vividly recreated environment where his intelligence and good nature are both valued and wasted.
