Summary
How would you spend Christmas if it could be your last?
Neil’s life is in freefall. He and wife, Sacha can’t conceive, and he’s losing the fight against drinking and depression.
His December days feel dark enough but the reality of spending Christmas with the in-laws from hell, including his terminally ill father in law, threaten to send him right over the edge.
Christy, Sacha’s sister ultimately has to pick up the pieces of their fractured family. Will she ever be able to put them back together?

Good book spoiled by narrator
I liked the story as I love all Maria Frankland books but
I really didn't like the narrator.
Her voice was so mundane and had me wishing she would hurry
up and finish the book.

Storyline
The story was excellent, but was spoiled by the accent of the narrator. The is set in Yorkshire and should have been read by someone with an accent from that area of the country. The narrator irritated me and did spoil the story

Maria did it again another amazing book
I couldn’t put the book down and managed to read it in a day and a half anyone who enjoys reading a good thriller or has read Maria’s books before will not be disappointed. There were lots of twists and turns and yet again I couldn’t have guessed the ending which is always really positive.
The narrator was great she used different voices for all the main characters and all I can say is hurry up with the next one!! If you haven’t tried this author before this book would be a wonderful one to start with.
