Summary
This audio contains two different 35-minute meditation sessions to help you learn the valuable meditation technique of the mindfulness of breathing. Both of the sessions begin with a body awareness section which works to focus your mind onto your body and your breath. In the first session you will learn how to observe and become completely aware of the flow of your breath using your fingers to mark each breath.
The second session naturally progresses the technique. At the end of each session you are encouraged to sit quietly for a few minutes to absorb the techniques. Through practising mindfulness we learn to live with more focus and awareness of ourselves, others and the world around us.
Mindfulness brings so many benefits, including reducing stress and improving sleep. The classes are devised and instructed by Rae Roberts. Rae is an internationally renowned meditation teacher who has practiced, studied and taught various meditation techniques since 1980. Her easy to follow expert instructions are combined with subtle background music soundscapes which set the mood and pace perfectly for these sessions.
