Great!
Not the usual type of book I go for but I read it because of the excellent reviews. I wasn't disappointed, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and it made me feel thankful for the choices and freedom I have had.

Mesmerising
A beautiful story that just draws you in from the start, I didn't want it to end! Just wonderful. The narrator was spot on I felt she brought the characters to life just as I imagined them.

a gentle tale of wartime love
Really enjoyed the book despite being a little clichéd and predictable. Good narration too. Also researched well.

Must Read, enjoyable.
Beautiful love story , emotional which transcends time. I couldn't stop reading as I wanted to know happens. I don't normally read love stories, I normally read crime and thrillers. This was a 2 for 1 offer, the summary sounded intriguing, so pleased I chose this . Well written and narrated. It is a really an enjoyable read
