Not for me..
I liked the characters, but the story was annoying.. a few good scenes, but it was difficult for me to get through. I will not recommend.

spicy , great narration and just wow. I like the individual characters back stories too. I think I went through several levels of emotions and learned something new too ☺️

Meh
After many recommendations I gave this one a try. I like the story but it’s way to long. I love smut, dark smut. But this took it to far. Not because it was to much but because it was to often. In one hour I listened to 3 sex scenes. It desensitized me and I got annoyed.
I read it half way then took a paus for 2 weeks and hoped it would be better the second time.
No. I’m juste walking around annoyed at them.

Great ending
This was glacially slow to start, it didn’t get to a group scene till 10 ish hours in BUT the multiple narrators and with one of them being Teddy, made the enjoyable 2nd half of this book worth the pain of the first half. This book really gets great in the last few hours.

The multiple narrators for this story made it 1000% better. Lilac is one of my favourite BB Reid books and I felt like I picked up on so much more that I might have missed while reading.

Brilliant Unconventional Love Story
I dove into this book with absolutely no expectations that I would actually like it. It took me a while to get into it ~ I struggled a little with the characters at times, but once you get to know them and really dive into what makes them tick, everything just hooked me. No spoilers ~ but my heart was in my chest for my favourite character…
I’m much more of a fantasy reader, so this rockstar romance thing is really left field, but I thoroughly enjoyed it - Lilac truly surprised me.
VERY spicy ~ and the scenes only got better as the book went on (chapter 63… keep it in mind). And a lot of spice variation too ~ a really beautiful insight into a more unconventional love story that really opened my eyes and expanded my outlook. Really not what I excepted when I first decided to give it a listen!
Definitely recommend x

Good performances from all 4 narrators. I enjoyed the backstories of the characters. Some aspects of the plot could have been different to strengthen the story but I still enjoyed it overall.

This book is better than expected
To be honest I wasn’t expecting anything whoever this book delivered everything , i was an awesome read read to be better as an audiobook I it would be better to be a dual audiobook or for the male readers to have more participation. But I did enjoy the book a lot.
