About this listen
Widowed before her 30th birthday, Gracie Collins has dealt with her share of tragedy. Lonely and on her own, she ends up taking a job with an arrogant boss. Three years later, she’s taken to tolerating him for the sake of entertainment. When she’s not eating the frustrations he’s caused, that is. Everything changes when a stroke of good luck puts Gracie in a position she never imagined.
Freed of the rat race, she begins contemplating her identity, goals, and dreams. She begins taking chances and expanding her horizons, but is she ready to move on with life, love, and the future? Will her newfound fortune pave the road to happiness? Or, will Gracie find that the wealth has left her poorer than ever before?

Great story
I really enjoyed this story. Gracie has some good luck but she tried not to let it change her. She opens up to some that she normally wouldn’t and that opens her eyes to new experiences. Great story. Great characters. HEA. Narration was great. Not the highest quality equipment but her voice was great. I definitely recommend this book.

Imagine losing and winning at the same time
Gracie lost hard, and won big. I cannot even begin to imagine the rollercoaster of emotions that brings. But Jude Ouvard writes all of those emotions and struggles that helped me to imagine it. Austin was not a great boss, but when Gracie leaves, he has to have her back. THis push and pull creates an intriguing romance and I could not stop reading because I just had to know what was next. I really enjoyed the changes in Gracie's life that kept her true to herself and kept Austin chasing her. The chase is always half the fun. Jude Ouvard brought out the fun, banter and struggles with ease through her writing.
Tia Johnson has a great voice to listen to. I easily got lost in her narration and felt as if I was within the pages of the story, TIa was able to keep the characters seperate and easy to follow. Her narration enhanced the experience of this listen.

Great story
I loved this book. Gracie had me laughing out loud as she and her friend were so funny.
The romance in the book was nicely done although some more interaction between Gracie and her boss before she quite her job would have been entertaining. I loved how she talked about him in her head and complained about him to her friend.
The narrator, Tia Johnson, did an excellent job. I enjoyed the narration but it took me a few minutes to get used to the tinny sound of the recording.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable book and I'd happily read more by the author and listen to more recordings by the narrator.

Well written & enjoyable
This my second Jude Ouvrard book, and I have to say she is a very talented author with the ability to captivate her readers/listeners. Lost & Rich is one of those stories that you find yourself savoring every moment of it. The storyline and character development are stellar, authentic, and convincing. Tia Johnson's narration captures the essence of the narrative and the characters, breathing life into the story. Overall, this was a fabulous listen, and I strongly recommend this audiobook.

Enjoyable storyline
This storyline had me laughing out loud at many points. The characters are well written and the humour is great. Tia gives a great performance. I can relate to the leading lady as she is clumsy and doesn’t think before she speaks!!
