About this listen
A little magickal mischief never hurt anyone....
Erik MacGregor is from a clan of ancient Scottish warlocks. He isn't looking for love. After centuries, it's not even a consideration...until he moves in next door to Lydia Barratt. It's clear that the shy beauty wants nothing to do with him, but he's drawn to her and determined to win her over.
The last thing Lydia Barratt needs is a demanding Scottish man meddling in her private life. Just because he's gorgeous and totally rocks a kilt doesn't mean she's going to fall for his seductive manner.
But Erik won't give up and just as Lydia lets her guard down, his sister decides to get involved. Her little love potion prank goes terribly wrong, making Lydia the target of his sudden embarrassingly obsessive behavior. They'll have to find a way to pull Erik out of the spell fast when it becomes clear that Lydia has more than a lovesick warlock to worry about.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who may or may not be wielding love potion magick in an effort to prank their older brother, and who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.

Fabulous
Having read the story before I knew what to expect. It is beautifully written with quirky characters that you just grow to love. My only gripe was that the humour that is present in abundance in the book does not come across as well in the recording.

really very good
Read the book first as an author freebie introduction. This audiobook version is as good if not better due to the performance/interpretation by Michael Ferraiuolo who manages to bring all the characters to life.

Magic, Mayhem and a Little Bit of Love
I really enjoyed the first in this series about the Warlocks MacGregor and this is Erik and Lydia’s story. There were some really laugh out loud moments especially with the MacGregor siblings playing pranks on each other. And there’s also a really funny scene where Erik tries to woo Lydia. I do prefer female narrators and although Mr Ferraiuolo did a good job with the Scottish accents I found some of the female ones a little too “effeminate”. Overall, the narration was good and I’m looking forward to listening to the next audio.

Love Potions
When I first read this book I loved it, the adventures of Lydia when she met the first of the Magregors was unusual to say the least, so when the they fell in love it was inevitable that the evil had to try and kill them both happy endings are lovely but this story is only just begining?

Have returned
Narrator is not my cup of tea - he sounds bored/sarcastic of the material.
Not sure of story as didn’t get to hear enough to review fairly.
