About this listen
Eric Baxter doesn't ask for much. All he wants is to get his leg-over occasionally with his wife, Helen, and to lose enough weight to be able to see his genitals again without having to lean completely forward. So when Carol (the randy work colleague and fellow food lover who almost seduced him the night before) turns up at his home and introduces herself to his wife, he begins to wonder whether life is playing a cruel practical joke on him. As Carol seems determined to make his life a misery for turning her down, and he's about to discover something's going horribly wrong in the trouser department too, he could very well be right.
If that weren't enough to have him reaching for the comfort food, he also has to contend with an oversexed son who's using the soapy bathroom sponge for something other than cleaning purposes. Plus a daughter who having just discovered boys has started dating a six-foot ginger gorilla with huge bushy sideburns. Not forgetting his neighbor's cat, a vengeful pigeon, a gang of feral children, and a vigilante sausage dog.

Cakes, cakes and more cakes
What made the experience of listening to Lust, Lies and Lemon Cakes Too the most enjoyable?
This follow up book is not as good as the first book. Nonetheless I enjoyed the long running cat saga with the neighbour, the kids and their new relationships and stalker Carol!
It is a light, easy and enjoyable listen.
Would you be willing to try another book from Steven Morris? Why or why not?
I bought the chocolate cake book, which was way better than this follow up. I was a but disappointed as it wasn't as funny as the first book.
What about Steve White’s performance did you like?
He brings the characters to life.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Made me smile on many occasions. No big LOLs though.

Lust,lies and Lemon cakes too
This was a very funny book.I enjoyed all the little jokes and zingers tossed about.Poor Erik,he keeps trying to fend off his wifes friend and realizes that little Erik can't perform.Instead of seeking a professional answer,he tries to hide it. Steve White was a wonderful narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'
