About this listen
It is the year 1892, and a mail order bride heads out west....
Can a woman find her strength, overcome adversity, and find love with a man that will protect her and care for her?
Abby Johnson and her younger cousin, Charlotte, are heading to Jamestown, North Dakota. Charlotte has arranged her own wedding to a man she has never met. Her more sensible older cousin cannot believe that she has become a mail order bride.
Their journey is shared with a strange frontier rancher who enthralls the young women with tales of the west.
As Charlotte casts her eyes on the man she will marry in a few hours for the first time, Abby is shocked that the stranger rancher is heading for the same destination.
The joys of wedding bliss are not around long before disaster strikes. Can Abby and their strange traveling companion save the day?
This short book is a sweet, clean western romance.

The story was OK.
First of all although the narrator was OK she made charlottes husband sound like a geeky nerd and not like the handsome rugged call boy he was supposed to be, I thought you did a great job with the doctor, but I didn’t like how it ended with Abby go back home? Would Charlotte survive her surgery? That was just too many open questions. Did the boy hanging outside Who got all the clean towels get the food he waited for And why if he had two parents who were at the party with them would you wait for food were they for and if they knew he hung outside waiting for food why didn’t they give them some instead of letting him just hang around? It just seemed like he was just invented for the purpose of gathering clean towels. They just had too many open questions. For the most part if this book had an actual ending it would’ve been great! I can only hope the story continues in the next book although I read the summary and sadly it doesn’t look like it. Also what was the point of Noah who are smart
