Murder's a drag

Good characters who are involved in a twisting whodunit that teases as much as a hairdresser backcombing a beehive. The romance is obvious and stereotyped but kept to the b story, letting the mystery unfold in the foreground. When the killer is revealed I was disappointed as I couldn't remember their appearance earlier in the story. But overall a fun mystery, with a cast I'll sleuth with again.
