About this listen
Everyone has heard of the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. However, they have not heard about them this way! The American Founding Fathers had a lot more to deal with at the end of the 18th century than tariffs and tea; avoiding hurled trees from wendigos and gargoyles falling from the sky took a lot of patience. How is Samuel Prescott supposed to hunt the leader of the Rippers when the British keep infringing upon the colonists' rights?

My TOP TEN just became ELEVEN
When I chose this story it was an experiment to a different style, it began filling me with dread, America fighting for colonial independence, however within 5 minutes I was totally addicted. Penny dreadfull on steroids. Loved ever second of this riveting original story. A truly jaw ache of whit and historical banter, Peter Clark writes in a way I have not seen . Changing from the first to second person perspective, and openly mocking his own historical fiction. Extending what I believed to be a historical story to something of compelling fantasy. Michael Gilboe's portrayals of most the historical figures of the time, and the FRENCH was genius, his Scottish and French accents never failed to make me actually laugh out loud. Spot on choice of Narrator as can not imagine this read any other way. I loved it.
