About this listen
Imagine finding yourself sitting next to a self-made millionaire for eight hours on a long-haul international flight. Imagine that person was prepared to share with you the secrets of their success. For one lucky person this actually happened. Inspired by a true story, Millionaire Upgrade is the tale of one very experienced entrepreneur and one very lucky passenger.
The story unfolds mid-air at 35,000 feet as Michael, the savvy self-made millionaire, shares his wisdom, eight-step approach, and magic ingredients for success with Tom, the aspiring entrepreneur. Their mid-air conversation contains all the secrets and practical insight you need to help you make your first million. It shows how you can turn your strengths and passions into an exciting, rewarding, and challenging enterprise.
Better than any in-flight movie, Millionaire Upgrade gets you inside the minds of successful entrepreneurs and self-made millionaires giving you the inside track on how they think and act.

Consolidate your 'self help' thoughts
This is a great book ? well structured and taking the themes from Napoleon Hills? ?Think and Grow Rich? and placing them into a good old yarn. I feel it takes two listens to get the message as it took me at least an hour for my mind to tune into the style of the delivery.
This is a great listen to anyone who has read numerate self-help books and is looking to consolidate their thoughts.

Good points but poor story-telling
The messages in this self-help book are strung together into a fictional account based very loosely on a real encounter. The presentation in this format was annoying as the author is not an engaging fiction writer, producing sloppy lines and unconvincing dialogue. Furthermore, Audible presents this book for free as it is essentially an advertisement for a course of self-help titles and courses.
All that said and done, some of the tips and advice scattered throughout this title I have not found elsewhere and do make a lot of great sense. Certainly well worth a few hours of your time.

The essential skills for all entrepreneurs
The author has a fantastic skill of bringing all the various elements of personal achievement together under one excellent book. Once you start with this there is no turning back. I have studied personal achievement for a few months now and nobody else brings it together as well as Richard, it is truly unique and will no doubt become a classic as time moves on.
Once you have studied this book you should move on to the authors Millionaire MBA course. At my time of writing I've completed the first 6 weeks of Millionaire MBA and have learnt so many insightful lessons, it has changed my outlook on life. I have lots of business ideas and don't seem to sleep as much anymore! I'm constantly thinking about my ideas and the principles in the book and course. I've already started working on my idea and have set my goal of going live as the 31/12/06, and I have no doubt I will achieve it and be successful.

Free! - What have you got to lose?
This audiobook is free. The reason for this appears to be that it is a sales device for the Millionaire MBA program (that bit costs money).
The book features some very... ‘sage’ old words... which are worth hearing. As with any book of its type, most of the advice is common sense; but to hear the world summated in such clear ways cuts through the 'noise' of advice you hear day to day. For that reason, it's worth a listen.
As other reviewers have noted, the concept is a bunch of principals strung together through a (poorly dialogued) chat between a hardworking guy and a seemingly laid back (but driven) millionaire entrepreneur. The cobbled together acronym is... appalling!
However, who cares? It's a very palatable way to be told some home truths that might alter your perspective for the better. Take the Millionaire MBA, or don't take the Millionaire MBA. Either way, there is a good chance you will have benefitted from this book.

A nice tale!
This is the story of a man who's down on his luck in a job he doesn't like and almost misses a plane but magical gets an upgrade to business class and a seat beside a Richard Branson-esque Character who gives him reams of good business advice.
The story itself is based on a conversation of the man character and the business man in first class, once the business man sees the fact that he is carrying a copy of Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich". The story is well written and nicely told and for the price it really is value for money.
If you are interested in nice business tales and fables from such authors as Spencer Johnson or Ken Blanchard then this is for you. If you are looking for something more detailed and expressive then just get the book the story is based on or Brian Tracy's "Success Mastery Academy" both of these titles are inspirational and extremely good motivators!
