Summary

Winner of 2022 Earphones Award, Science Fiction, AudioFile Magazine

A telekinetic assassin’s quest to avenge his parents’ murders triggers an all-out war between an eccentric cast of killers, from the New York Times and number one Audible.com best-selling duo Jeremy Robinson and R.C. Bray.

Jonas kills people...with his mind. He reaches out, focuses for a moment, and feels a snap of pain between his eyes. Then his target falls over dead: a hole in the center of their brains. The cause of death is unknown to all aside from Jonas, and his lone companion, Bubbles, a sarcastic AI with aspirations to be more human, or a serial killer. One of the two. Maybe both. Jonas calls his ability...mind bullet.

Sensing Jonas is lonely and depressed, Bubbles arranges for Madee, a Thai delivery woman by day and a thief by night, to enter his life. For a moment there are sparks. But chaos follows as the people Madee last robbed catch up to her. They also happen to be the Shrieking Ninjas. After surviving the assault, Jonas and Madee find themselves on the run with a $10 million hit called on Jonas.

Killers from all over the globe pursue the pair as they run for their lives, headlong into Jonas’ mysterious past, uncovering the surreal origins and extent of his abilities. They discover a dark and twisted history that threatens to unravel his mind and leave him susceptible to control. Working with Bubbles, Madee, and a growing list of new allies, Jonas battles his way through waves of assassins, some with abilities like his, all to protect the world from a recently discovered, untraceable weapon of mass destruction - himself.

Good stupid fun!!

Absolutely loved it.

It starts off pretty crazy and it just keeps escalating and ever more entertaining batshit ways.

Bubbles has got to be one of my favourite Jeremy Robinson character so far. I have The Others branch to go still though.. but I feel like there isn't anything or anyone that's going to beat Bubbles for me.

really can not wait for Khaos!

Great story but abrupt ending

Overall a fantastic listen with the usual stellar performance from R.C. Bray. I don't think I'll look at telekinesis again without thinking 'Mind Bullet' in RC Bray's voice =)

JR and RC knock out out of the park with this one!

I've listened to 41 Audio books in the last 12 months, my favourite books are those that are based around the real world but contain a sci fi or supernatural element.

I've enjoyed Joe ledger, anything by Scott sigler (ray porter is the secobd best narrator after RC in my opinion ) ash angels and my favourite expeditionary force. I ran out of things that peaked my interest and came across Jeremy Robinson as a lot of his books are narrated by the amazing RC Bray.

I jumped in with infinite I really enjoyed the first book and the second was good with a different feel, owed in part to Robinson recoveribg from an illness whilst writing, which he explains at the end of the book. Listened to the darkness which I thought was decent, loved tribes and exo hunter.

I particularly like JRs references to music and pop culture and clearly enjoys Craig alansons work as Skippy gets his share of nods throughout his work which I love.

This book is on another level to everything else JR has done in my opinion it has strong characters and mind bullet himself is a great lead, although bubbles steals the show for me. I listened through quicker than I have done anything and couldn't wait to progress the story whilst not wanting it to end.

I feel like JR has created his own versions of Joe Skippy and the filthy monkeys, on earth.

I cannot wait to hear more from these characters and see how they are involved in the singularity .

Bravo Mr Robinson

Simply brilliant!

I have listened to everything Jeremy has written and he goes from strength to strength. This story, like The Dark is so well crafted that it is easy to believe the events are really happening…. No spoilers but I am so pleased that there will be more along the same lines…. Very happy with this revelation. The performance by His Royal Brayness was his usual monotone shallow mumbling …. Sorry Bob, I mean brilliant!!!! It is worth two credits in my humble opinion - thank you Jeremy and Bob for helping me navigate another Icelandic Winter.

Very enjoyable story with terrific narration. Made a very serious person laugh out loud several times! I will be seeking out more from Jeremy Robonson and other audible books narrated by RC Bray.

Absolutely brilliant nonsense.

This is just hilarious from start to finish - you really get the sense that the author and Mr Bray had fun writing and performing this. The best kind of escapist nonsense.
