Boring at first
Boring at the beginning but it improves towards the end. Worth listening.
I liked when he mentioned practicing gratitude because we want what we don't have and we tend to not want what we have which is what happens to me.

Not for me, but it is a good book.
I have a little bit of experience with mindfulness and meditation and this book gives some good information for beginners. Although, it does start to get more in depth and specific as the book goes on. My own preference is unguided simple mindful meditation focussed on my breath, I haven't found more in depth techniques suit me. I am looking for a book for my wife to read, which is why I listened to it, knowing my wife (we've been together 25 years), this book would incorrectly reinforce her belief that it takes too much effort to make meditation/mindfulness work. If you are looking for the fluffier side of mindfulness, this book is absolutely superb and actually meets the needs of the vast majority of people new to mindfulness. If it is plain old simple meditation you are after, I highly recommend the FREE Audible shows "Get Calm - An Introduction to Meditation". If you feel you want to develop it further after listening to the shows, come back to this book.
