  • Is minimalism boring?
  • How do I handle close relationships with non-minimalists?
  • Why does minimalism not work for some people?
  • What are the benefits of minimalism? and;
  • How do I build the needed discipline to be a minimalist?

More than that - and as is implied in the title of this book - you will learn just how to create a minimalist budget and stick to it. Also, to make your transition into minimalism much easier, check out the 30-day guide to becoming a minimalist in chapter 10.

Well beyond minimalist budgeting

This is a full-length book on minimalism and not the kind of specific budgeting technique I was looking for. For that reason it was too long for me.
Nontheless is a educational book about minimalism as a life philosophy and taught me a lot. Many of the lessons are really useful to stop some of our mindless spending habits.
At a point it sounds like preaching and is a bit too much. On a general note it was a good book.

I never really thought about my buying

I never really thought about my buying in terms of the time I was trading in in order to buy things I only thought about the money it would take. This book taught me to look at my acquisitions multi-dimensionally. It was a real eye opener.

So many people are short on cash

So many people are short on cash, but spending money like crazy while trying to figure out what's going wrong. The title of this book is spot on! Minimalist Budget was very practical for me and it felt good listening it knowing the aim wasn't to make feel bad about managing my money better. I've suggested it to several friends.

This book is not at all what I expected

This book is not at all what I expected, but a great listen no the less. Instead of telling you how to budget it gives you different ideas on how to cut back on day to day cost and bills. It's a most listen!

2 x Peaches + er does make a preacher - Ahem

I wish it hadn't got the woke preaching in place.

I wanted tips NOT a philosophy or politics in life.

I just know that the profit from this book will no go to charity - Ah the irony in woke culture.

2 x Peaches + er does make a preacher - Ahem NOT Amen!!!!

Bottom line - "You sit with your arse not with your mouth"
