Listen and make up your own mind!

Some reviewers have given this narrator a poor review but we found he grows on you and adds to the feel of the story. Stephen Fry is possibly the best but this is still a good listen and not to be dismissed lightly. We enjoyed it enough to get the next story!

Montmorency and the assassins

Well what a disappointment , after reading the first two with Stephen Fry as narrator I was so much looking forward to the third . Well what a let down. Stephen Fry has such a lovely animated voice , but this other chap had no variable intonations in his voice, I am afraid to say was really boring . I have just read about the bit where you can send books back , and unfortunately this is what I am going to do with this one . If Stephen Fry were to narrate all of the Montmorency books I will be in heaven !
More Stephen Fry narrations please .

What an awful narrator!

Loved this series growing up! Unfortunately this narrator sounds like he couldn't care less about the story, every character sounds the same and it sounds like he's just reading a script with no investment in the story whatsoever. Very disappointed.
