Believing she is gone forever, he marries another to save her from an evil suitor, but his love for Blaire haunts him. Hundreds of years in the future, Blaire MacChristy lives each day adjusting to modern life. When visitors from her past arrive asking her to return, Blaire takes a chance on love. Will fate find a way to mend their broken hearts? Will they be able to stop the darkness that is coming for them both?

Can he release himself from his past grief to allow another love to enter his life? If he does, will his love be returned?

Good story, ruined by the accent
Good fantasy story but my goodness the accent of the reader!. Not sure where it is meant to be from but it is nothing like Scottish with even the capital city of Edinburgh being pronounced wrong. Quite disconcerting.

Dreadful
Apart from the narrator, whose accent got nowhere near Scotland but drifted to New York Irish and back, the storyline was weak with the women inadequately drawn and the male characters unbelievable. I would suggest that the writer do some research and she will discover that Gaelic was the spoken and written language in the Highlands at that time and that no one would have understood a word her American characters were speaking.

Child Like Storytelling
Very immature writing and no depth to the actual story, very basic . Could also do with a load more research into historical Scotland and what things were like in that error, not bringing things from the 20th century into the 17th century. The narration was also not great, there was no consistency with the accents.
This could be so much better if even a bit more elaboration went into the story.
Very disappointed I wasted a credit on this.
