Excellent!
Really enjoyed this book. I listen on my way to work and have got through many books over the last few months. This is probably in my top three. Well drawn characters, gripping story and fantastic performances!

I wasn't really impressed
I stuck with this book until the end as I had started it so I wanted to finish it.
To be honest there is not much of story, it could have been covered as a short story as there is a lot of extra words and details given that are irrelevant to the story. You are constantly waiting for something to happen and it never really does. On the occasion that something does happen it's under played.
On the whole a big disappoint, I won't recommend this to my friends and not sure I would listen to anymore of this authors books.
The narrators were ok.

Well that's several hours of my life I won't get back
This story rambled on for ages and ages and the plot was not as gripping as I'd have liked. No likeable characters either. I only finished it on principle because I don't like leaving a book unread / unlistened to.

Too much of everything trying to make too much .
I started thinking it would be an interesting story but ended up not liking any of the characters and didn't care how it ended. I fear the author kept trying to make it more interesting by adding what they thought were twists in the story. If this is chic lit it's not for me.

Enjoyable and relaxing read
Any additional comments?
Great book, with an interesting plot, relaxing to read as there isn't too much going on or any real cliff hangers yet its still interesting, very cleverly written. Would recommend for someone looking to read something interesting, relaxing yet not boring!

Strong characters growing as the story builds ...
Couldn't wait to hear how this unraveled & built all at the same time. Strong characters .
Enjoyable narration & this book just fitted the bill.

An Engrossing Listen
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio from start to finish. The two narrators were excellent and the book neatly switched from the central characters, Lilly and Carla, without the listener losing the way or getting confused as to whether it was past or future. I personally found the number of complexities enjoyable and a good distraction from the main plot of the book, which was clever without being utterly ridiculous. The characters were quite likeable and not so annoying that you gave up on them, nor were the women simpering idiots. Slightly neurotic and self satisfied but minor points. On the whole an engrossing audio with engaging twists and turns and a pleasant change from the usual criminal potboilers massed produced these days.

Not another Girl on the Train
Tolerable at first but ultimately a thin plot with silly characters. A chick lit story with thriller pretensions.
