About this listen

Excerpt:

Narcissists can have many traits that may be undesirable to others, especially in a relationship dynamic. They often talk down to others or criticize them. They live by their own morals and values, which may change as it suits them. They can be extremely vain and self-conscious, constantly being fussy about little things. They don't enjoy intimacy and connectedness that others enjoy in relationships. The world seems to revolve around the person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. For this very reason, they can be difficult to maintain a healthy relationship with. No one wants to hear one person talk about themselves all of the time. It gets nauseating.

One of the easiest ways that you can identify a Narcissistic partner is by their dialogue with others. They don't give compliments because they believe they are superior to others, and they see no point in complimenting people who they view are inferior to them. If they do give a compliment, it will be because they know the other person values compliments. It is likely that they are using a method of giving compliments in order to gain attention or admiration for themselves.
