About this listen
Mia, a 17-year-old fugitive, has lived her life shrouded in mystery. With no knowledge of her real name, true birthdate, or origins, each year she adopts a new identity, name, and location on a day known as her "Name Day." Skilled at blending in, Mia lives by her Uma's cautionary words: "You blend in. Stand up and get shot down." But this year, everything changes when her protector, Uma, can no longer shield her.
As her latest Name Day arrives, Mia is thrust into a whirlwind of revelations. She begins to unravel a dark truth about her past, a truth that has dictated her nomadic and secretive existence. This discovery propels her on a journey that challenges everything she has ever known.
In the midst of this tumultuous awakening, Mia encounters a mysterious young man. His presence offers a glimpse of normalcy and the stirrings of a love she never thought possible. However, as Mia delves deeper into the enigma of her life, this new relationship teeters on the edge of a dangerous precipice. She faces the ultimate dilemma: can she trust this enigmatic stranger, or is he a part of the betrayal that has orchestrated her life?
Name Day is a gripping tale of survival, identity, and the quest for truth. It weaves the emotional intensity and romantic intrigue reminiscent of The Twilight Saga with the suspense and resilience found in The Hunger Games. In this journey of self-discovery, Mia must navigate a path filled with danger, love, and the vital quest to uncover her true identity.

Honestiy, I expected more
The performance was soulless and it had a messy storyline and telling. I wanted more from Jackson and Mia because chemistry where? I'm sad now. I used my monthly credit on this.
