About this listen
Rule number three: Never let anyone think they can hurt you and get away with it.
I thought I'd seen and felt the worst of it, but there's nothing worse than betrayal.
Corina knows who's behind what happened to me, and she may think hiding will keep her safe, but after everything that's happened, nothing can keep her safe from me and the Sick Boys. She's a pawn in all of this, but I'll get that information even if it means I have to cut it out of her - piece by f--king piece.
This little charade is about to end. They thought they could drag me down into the dirt and grind my soul into the dust. What they failed to realize is that there's nothing left of my soul, and I don't mind getting a little dirty if it means getting my revenge. I may have let her fool me once, but there's no way in hell I'll let her fool me twice.
After I'm done with her, I'm going after the big boys.
Contains mature themes.

Finally get some answers
I’m pleased we got some answers. The ending could of been a lot better. I’m a little bit disappointed and for this reason I won’t be moving onto the next two books. AJ got on my nerves a little bit, her temper tantrum’s and constant punching Dean in the face got tiresome. Yes she’s unhinged but her level of aggression to her loved ones was pathetic.
My overall rating is 4 ⭐️ the narrator’s did a fabulous job.

Infuriating female lead but OK story
I've never hated a main character as much as Avalon. By this last book I began physically cringing at her attitude. The relentless anger and violence towards Dean is vile and it would have been much more enjoyable without it in my opinion. Their relationship doesn't seem to make sense as she has no redeemable qualities that I can see. The other characters are all great and I'm looking forward to listening to Abel's story and hoping that Avalon doesn't feature that much because she ruins it for me

The female lead
Ava is just mean without basis. She hits her boyfriend and acts like a fucking psycho without any reason why. I don't see why Riley wanted to be her friend, Ava have no redeeming qualities. It felt like everyone in this book had a personality but Ava. Also the female voice actress had a weird accent (pull sounded like pool etc) and made Ava sound angry all the time while the male voice actor actually gave Ava humanity. I wish he'd narrated the whole book.
