Couldn't put it down. Brilliant!
What a brilliant, captivating book! Very well written. Excellently read by the author! You really get into the characters empathizing with them, loving or hating them, or laughing out loud with certain situations (this book is very funny too!). Highly recommend it especially to people in recovery.

Rollercoaster ride.
Bravo Jennifer, A truly epic narration that you took me on as I was catapulted through feelings of frustration, irritation, pain, anger, joy and hope everything one might feel living with or even knowing someone in the grips of addiction, mental health, codependancy and fantasy. I felt it all.

A witty, emotional rollercoaster ride!
Expertly read by the author, this is a witty, emotional rollercoaster ride, intimately detailing the ups and (very down) downs of a lovestruck couple afflicted by addictions. The story unfolds in a way that feels utterly grounded in truth and sensitivity, with completely relatable circumstances, whether or not you're familiar with the added pressures that addiction places on any romance. The cast of characters are accurately and compassionately rendered by the author in a clear yet pacy narration which entices you to listen to just one more chapter, and then another and then another....

Funny, heartbreaking, addictive, enlightening!!
This is funny, heartbreaking, shocking, searing, enlightening, graphic and even addictive listening! A story that needed to be written I am sure to give voice to some of the hidden addictions in society. And narrated by the author adds whole extra layer to the listening experience. Fabulous. I loved it !!!
