Summary

MC Romance
This is book 2 of Untamed sons and follows VP Nox . When Lucy turns up looking for help she doesn’t tell them the reason why Nox is attracted to Lucy straight away but when he finds out she’s lied he feels betrayed .

Nox and Lucy
I generally love a gritty and action packed MC romance but I really struggled with this one. The storyline didn't keep my interest as much as I like and the main characters were not my favorite. Lucy could be likable at times and I know she had her reasons and thinking she was keeping herself safe but I really struggled with how much she lied and kept lying to Nox, her friends, and the club. This was more of an insta lust romance and felt Nox and Lucy were not on the same page or really established much of a relationship before things got heated up. I would have loved to feel a strong bond and love between them. This story started out with a bang with a lot of action and club problems. Overall, it was a decent story and listen but not sure it's enough to want to continue the series.
Narrated by PJ Morgan and Freddie Wills, both new to me narrators and they were both enjoyable to listen to and definitely made this listen an overall better experience in spite of my issues with the storyline.

MC romantic suspense!
Jessica Ames brings on the suspense with a fabulous installment to her Untamed Sons MC series. This is book two and features Nox and Lucy. Nox is the VP, always puts the club first, that is until Lucy comes in. As Sasha's best friend, when she finds herself in trouble, seeks the protectiveness of the club. Nox pulls out all the stops to keep her protected as their attraction takes over. But she holds secrets, and they can put not only herself in danger, but the club too. Will Nox still feel the same when the truth comes out? Will the club stand behind him? This books is full of twists and turns and unlikely decisions. MC books are a favorite of mine as they feature the bad boy with the heart of a teddy bear, and Nox is exactly that. He is dark and dangerous in one breath and sweet and loving in the next. Lucy is scared, and her fear definitely inhibits her. It took me a bit to understand and like her. Plus getting the fun of seeing the other club members band together is truly what it's all about. Thrilling suspense, sense of family and true love. It doesn't get better than this.
PJ Morgan and Freddie Wills lend their voices to the electrifying story. Morgan comes in as Lucy, timid and scared and she plays her personality to a "T". Wills is the dark and delicious Nox. Dangerous and attentive, he pulls out each facet of this man. Together these two give us a fantastic, thrilling story and I enjoyed every minute.

Loved the wonderful dual narration of PJ Morgan and Freddie Wills
Nox is the VP, and the club first. Lucy is the best friend of the President Sasha. Lucy finds herself in trouble. When Nox sees her injured and afraid his protective instincts and emotions

Good Listen
Lucy is running for her life and meets Nox along the way. She has finally stopped running and is found. Now she runs to the club to get help but knows that her time is limited. She finally starts a relationship with Nox but knows she belong to someone else if only on paper. Now she is found and she will protect the club and her friends at the risk of her life. Now Nox must go and get and protect his woman to show her that she no longer has to run.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Thrilling & Intense!
Jessica Ames pens another awesome story set in her “Untamed Sons MC” series and it was just as captivating as the first book, “Ravage”. Each book in the series features different lead characters and can stand on their own, but it is best to enjoy them in order written to get the most of the amazing MC world the author continues to build on. This book Nox, the club VP and Lucy’s story, and wow, what a story it is. Lucy, Sasha’s friend, has secrets and has been running from her past but when her past catches up to her, she is in big trouble, and the first place she thinks to run to is the Untamed Sons’ club house. Nox has had a thing for Lucy and goes into protective mode, vowing to find who hurt and chased her. She can not tell them the truth, so she blames the one person who can’t talk, but it won’t be long until they figure out she steered them wrong. But the truth would put not only her in harm’s way but the club too. Spending more time with Nox was not the smartest thing, she is falling for Nox and he for her, but she can’t stay because once they find out the truth they will hate her. This cleverly plotted and fast-moving story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Jessica Ames, thank you for another great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧And for the terrific narration, PJ Morgan and Freddie Wills did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. Their portrayal of each character was spot-on, giving each a voice that suited that character and was believable in every role they played. PJ Morgan nailed it Lucy, grasping every side of her personality, from her fearfulness to her fierceness, Freddie Wills did the same for Nox, an alpha biker not afraid to show his softer side. Both were fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone of the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These two are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

quick MC story
I liked the characters in this mostly although I wish we got more backstory on both Nox and Lucy. I kind of felt like we came into the book part way through and missed their individual histories. I know a bit was given in the first book in the series but especially Lucy I felt like we never really got to know at all. I liked the story and I'll definitely listen to more in the series but I would have liked more character development.

Amazing

The biker and the runaway
Loved the listen! Nox and his biker club give shelter to Lucy, who almost got shot. She hides secrets. But Nox is way to protective and too caring for her to get away. She brings war to the club doors. It’s full of action, drama and romance. Perfect combo with an awesome narration.

This was a super fast paced story, Lucy’s life starts to fall down around her, and Nox & the Untamed Sons will either catch her as she falls or watch as she burns.
