About this listen
Lady Katherine Wilson never expected to inherit a horse farm, but she embraces the gift and the opportunity to continue her grandmother's legacy. She decides to breed the farm's mares, but only one stud will do. Unfortunately, the stallion belongs to the Marquess of Holton, and they've never gotten along well.
Bennett Evans, the Marquess of Holton, has had the responsibility of his family for years. He has never had the chance to live an idle life and has very strong beliefs about a female's place in society. He is appalled that a lady of Katherine's caliber is running a horse farm and outright refuses to work with her.
Katherine and Bennett continue to cross paths, and words, with each other. Sparks fly and before long, passion starts brewing between them. It could lead them to find love, or it may end up being their downfall.

A Fiesty love story
These two couldn't help but fight each other every step of the way, but when they start to see that it is actually affection that they feel towards each other and not resentment, that is when things change. The characters were wonderful and I really enjoyed the plot.

they were at odds
Lady Katherine and Marquess Bennet had met in an unusual way. From the beginning it seems they were at odd. Later on, due to circumstances they had to make a truce, made business deal and then a permanent deal.
This was a sweet romance, with some humor as they seem to try and outsmart/outmaneuver each other. But love wins and thus a happy ending.
A good , clean story to read.
