About this listen
Renner Caldwell has her life perfectly mapped out. She has the ideal relationship, the perfect job, and all is right in her world. When a shameful turn of events happens, she boards the first plane bound for Ireland to lick her wounds and get her head back on straight.
Cillian O'Braidagh is the sexy front man to the Irish rock band, Over The Edge. His rising fame and sultry voice make him every woman's fantasy come true. Not to mention his single-minded determination. To put it simply: what Cillian wants, Cillian always gets. And he wants Renner, because there's just something about the flame-haired beauty he has to possess.
If their relationship was just about sex and rock n' roll, it would be easy for them to get lost in their desires. Only their relationship is anything but a hook-up. Will lies, deceit, and hidden tragedy get in the way, making the path to true love uncertain? Or will the girl whose been knocked off course find her footing with the man who is teaching her it's okay to lose control?
Note from Sawyer Bennett: This book is part of the Off Series but it can be heard as a standalone book. Nothing in the prior or subsequent books will diminish your understanding of this novel. This is a New Adult, Contemporary Romance.

Nice story shame about the accents
As always the off season storylines are interesting, the only thing with this one - the Irish accents were TERRIBLE. Honestly the producers should have got some real Irish folks in. We all recognise the performers from the other books and understand loyalty etc but if you are going to go for such a strong accent then do it properly. For this reason alone my rating on performance was low when usually I love these guys.

Killian and Renner story
Though both narrators usually excellent the female Irish accent was a bit cringeworthy - still loved the book though!

Ok yes the Irish accent is bad!! But it still is worth the listen
A lot more depth and struggle in this one. As above the Irish accent is distracting it’s so bad but I think the more you listen it’s easier to forget.

Terrible Oirish accents
Oh dear. The story was pretty good but those awful accents ruined it. Maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad if I wasn’t of Irish heritage….maybe I croup’s have overlooked them.

loved it
I enjoyed this story very much.
Cillian and Renner are hot and steamy but their romance is tainted by an outside source that is trying to tear them apart.
Cillian is an Irish rockstar ,Renner is an American woman running from a broken and humiliating relationship.
They shared a kiss many years ago when Renner was just 18 years old and visiting from the U.S....But their meeting ended badly and left Renner believing Cillian was just a player who didn't care about her feelings.
Years later she is working in a bar in Ireland she is escaping from a bad relationship and encounters Cillian once again...Cillian never forgot his kiss with Renner and seeing her now wanted to make her his once more.
But Cillian is being manipulated by an ex lover which is preventing him from moving on and having a relationship with anyone.
But what turns out to be just a fling between Cillian and Renner turns into so much more than sex.
I really liked this story and I thought Charlotte North and Matthew Holland did a great job at portraying Cilian and Renner and I know some people have critised their Irish accents,I thought it was a great effort.
It didn't put me off the story or my enjoyment.
Sawyer Bennett is fantastic at weaving a very interesting story that kept me listening none stop.
Brilliant audiobook.
I highly recommend it.

3.5 Stars
Not my favourite book in the series, however it was still enjoyable and of course beautifully written. I had trouble connecting with Renner and Cillian and I found I wasn't as invested in their story. I got a little wound up with how Cillian handled Maeve.
All that said the chemistry when they got together was palpable and I loved Cillian's take charge attitude and the fact that unless it was in the bedroom, Renner didn't bend to his demands. Looking forward to reading Flynn's story.

We're Irish, not leprechauns...
Sorry to say i didn't enjoy this book as much as the first few books. I'm from Ireland, donegal to be precise and I think the Irish accent was just cringe. The Irish in the book are basically how you'd imagine leprechauns to sound, we Irish do not talk like that. Nothing against the narrators or authors. I really enjoyed the story overall but the accent was just a big NO from me.
