Summary

At 18 years of age, I pledged my "I do" and believed that from that moment on I would live happily ever after. Coming from a broken family, I now was the bride of a successful and noted Israeli journalist, a man who had his finger tips on the pulse of the world... who now chose to love and cherish me! I was considered to be the luckiest girl in Tel Aviv.

"You are beautiful and I love you. I can mold you the way I wish," he said, and I took it as a great compliment.

The following days of my life were an eye opener.... Reality hit, and I was faced with the facts of life, trying to prove my worth to him and to society. Right and wrong, good and bad, love and hate, shame and blame, I was determined to make a sense of it all.

Only six years later, as life took many surprising turns, he left me a "love letter" and committed suicide. I suddenly became the woman whose husband killed himself.

With the authentic vulnerability of a young girl, I take you with me on my journey from ashes to triumph, from broken heart to celebrating life.
