Average light reading

I liked the book overall but found the performance a bit difficult as Libby sounded so whiny. Perhaps that was the intention but I found it a shame.

I can never stop a book without knowing the ending but wish I had been able to do this with this one as I found it average and the simple plot a bit too drawn out.

very frustrating! characters with no common sense!

found the characters frustrating, and what happened to follow up appointments with hospital and police for Alice? do gooder Libby was so out of order in pushing Alice to return to Gethin when she didn't even know who she was, never mind him!! I think there would have been some professional help on hand in such early days after her accident!

This would make a good film

This is a great book. I really enjoyed this and it was a real-page turner- one I couldn’t stop listening to. I was so engrossed and engaged with the characters that I would be shouting at the audio. I really enjoy this . Narrator can’t be faulted. There were moments where I found it frustrating but this is because I was so engrossed

Romance

Predictable from about half way through book, easy read and a lot of true meanings within

A bit predictable, but still worth it

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend it. Even though it is quite predicable, I still couldn't wait to hear how it all got to the inevitable conclusion. Once again there had to be the obligatory dog or dogs) in the story. They add an additional bit of character to Lucy Dillon's books.

Which character – as performed by Lucy Price-Lewis – was your favourite?

Lucy Price-Lewis is an excellent narrator and is excellent at different character voices and accents. It was almost like listening to a play at times - very good!!

Any additional comments?

A nice easy to listen to / read book.

Excellent audio book with fantastic narrator.

Really good story about family ( and other) relationships and interactions. The writer also explores how we find out who we really are, together with a romance, and the lovable Sir Bob- a pets for therapy dog.
The narrator had distinct voices for each character, read the book clearly and was a joy to listen too. Highly recommended
