About this listen
Can you see danger when it's right in front of you?
When Edinburgh reporter Frankie is assigned a high-profile crime story about a series of sexual assaults, she relishes the prospect of her big break.
As she begins uncovering the truth behind women's safety, online trolls known as incels start threatening her very existence.
Will Frankie uncover the truth, or will she become the next target?
This intense and unsettling thriller about resentment and rage is perfect for fans of Pascal Engman's "Femicide".
Scotland-born Heather escaped the rat-race in 2018, reinvented herself as an editor, and now thrives as a part-time freelancer and Commissioning Advisor for Bloodhound.

Still waiting for something to happen
This book just didn't seem to get going. I found myself waiting and waiting for something to happen. Even at the end, I was left thinking that that can't be it. Characters were introduced so close to the end and I thought they might be part of a big plot twist, but no. It seemed almost a waste of time bringing them into the story.

Brilliant- dark, clever and gripping
This story had me gripped right away! I loved the dual POV and both characters stories gave me a lot to think about. This is a dark and terrifyingly plausible story. Clever, challenging, beautifully written with excellent pacing. It’s one of those stories you literally won’t want to put down.
The narration absolutely worked for me. Really drew me into this fantastic thriller.
