Wow! A life changer....

I haven’t flown for over 20 years, my fear was so entrenched I would often have nightmares about being in a plane. This summer I was asked to go overseas to do some charity work and I was faced with a huge personal conflict, as much as I wanted to do the charity work I didn’t want to even go to airport let alone fly!!! I decided to do the charity work but as the date to fly came closer I realised i wasn’t going to be able to do it- I contemplated going to drs for medication but saw the reviews for this book on Audible and thought I’d give it a go. I purchased this book four days before I flew. Morning and night I listened to it laid on my bed with headphones, I immediately felt a slight difference, which I put down to me taking back control, as the next couple of days went by I found myself being more concerned with what I was taking with me and packing rather than the flight! On the day I felt no nerves at all, until I got to the airport- my anxiety began to creep in so I listened to it when waiting before I went through security. When we walked to get on the airplane I felt slightly nervous again , but I knew what to expect from the book. I found my seat and clipped myself in. As the plane started I used breathing techniques and there were no surprises (with sounds etc) as the book had explained what to expect. As the wheels left the tarmac everything lifted from me, all nerves, everything and a deep relaxation set in , I really enjoyed the flight. I was able to look out window and actually get out of seat and go to loo! As we hit some unexpected turbulence I was able to remain calm and chilled- my friend who I was travelling with (who has flown loads) was more nervous than me when we had turbulence! The sense of achievement I feel is overwhelming- when I was away I was actually looking forward to my flight home! I have already booked up to go away again! I feel as if I have missed out on so much over the years and with this amazing book I’m getting it back! This book is worth every penny and more! Don’t look any further for help to overcoming flying! This book will change your life. Good luck!

Fear of flying

I wished I had bought this mindfulness cd sooner, it is brilliant and has changed my life for the better. Each year My fear of flying was getting progressively worse. this year I was starting to get panic attacks just thinking about it. I only bought this cd two days before I flew and it was worth every penny. My mindset was so different I was calm
All the way through and actually looked out the window when we were landing. Yes I was surprised to hear an Essex accent but that's soon forgotten. I can't emphasise enough how brillant this cd is. Happy flying

Highly effective

I am in my Fifties and have only flown twice and not for many years, due to my fear of flying. I very much wanted to go to New York for a family holiday and, while feeling hugely cross with myself (again!) for limiting my family holidays so much, I agreed to go. Needing to do something, I decided to give this a try. I did the exercises for three weeks beforehand and the impact was amazing. Once I started the tape, I found the constant 'background worry' about actually being on a plane in the near future faded away. I did the tape 3 - 4 times in the airport and throughout the journey and felt absolutely fine. I continued doing it every day while away and had an excellent return journey. Don't think it won't work for you, no one could have been more scared than me. I feel exhilerated now by all the new possibilities that have opened up for me and my family.

This did not help me one bit

I don’t know if I had unrealistic expectations but it didn’t work on me quite relaxing tho to be fair.
