About this listen
After the incident in Iraq, I found myself at the end of my rope, contemplating the taste of my 9mm. That's when he found me; they found me.
The Boneyard Brotherhood took me in, gave me purpose. My life became about my bike, my brothers, my freedom. But there was still something missing; something I needed but couldn't put my finger on.
That something came walkin' in the door of our club, wantin' to serve papers to Teddy, the man who brought me to the Brotherhood. She was meek, conservative, shy. What she didn't know was that she was also going to be mine.
Once I laid eyes on Madi, I knew I had to have her, her curves, her subdued smile, the way her face flushed when I called her sweetcheeks. But before I could make her mine, I had to convince her to look past the tough tattooed biker image she was afraid of and find the real me.

Intriguing
Not often that books are written from the male perspective alone, I really enjoyed this unique perspective and can’t wait to read/listen more. Loved the narrator as well, fantastic voice and brilliant job at changing it up for other characters

Sadly not for me
I was gifted This book via audiobook blast in exchange for an honest review...
This was an OK listen ,narration was good but the book for me was not gritty enough bordering on sickly sweet and considering it was meant to be a mcc book it never reached the mark .
Enough said sorry

That voice!
The story was decent. Nothing major but entertaining. What make it though was the voice. It really brought the story to life. He really made it sound like it was his story. I’d have liked more chemistry between the two and definitely more action but it was decent.

MC Romance with a Difference!
I liked this story. I liked the simple honesty of it. I liked that for a change it was written entirely from the male protagonist's point of view. The reader has no idea with the woman is experiencing, feeling or thinking. I enjoyed Gideon Welles gravelly voice that brought Sid to life. He managed Maddi's softer tones as well. I liked that the usual pursuits associated with Motorcycle Clubs are included though the Boneyard Brotherhood's approach to drugs, etc is from a different angle giving the members a gruff exterior and a more sensitive inside. I like how Amber Burns kept it real with the genuine physical and emotional effects of PTSD. And I especially liked how this is a story about making the right choices and finding that right person to make all of it worth the effort, through the good, bad and ugly. It does feel a little slow at times but i think Maddi and Sid's story fits their personalities.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A true soul
I loved the narrator. The mix of his voice and this wonderful book, kept me interested from the first line to the end.
I was hooked from the beginning. The character Sid is a wounded veteran, whose life is saved by a veteran's bikers club. He is an honourable man and will and does not get involved in anything unlawful.
He meets and falls in love with a shy woman.
Yes he falls fast and hard , but I loved it.
Honour, love and faith in your other half.
loved it 😀
