Summary
Karis Begay is the only surviving heir to the Begay wolves of the Alaskan Pack. Someday she will take her place as Pack Mother, which is a lifelong burden she has always carried with pride. Amazing book
This is a great listen. Both Narrators did a wonderful job of telling this story. I found it interesting how he got his alpha powers from being her mate and not being born to be an alpha heir. Damon's reactions to Karis's scent on other males were quite funny once he realized why it was getting to him. It was nice that there were people he could talk to about his struggle with the growing alpha powers. Karis is more relaxed and has known her position in her pack all her life, whereas Damon probably never thought he'd be an alpha. It would have been nice to have more backstory on him to see where he'd rank in a pack.

Great story
Loved this book and I loved the way it brought in other characters I have read about in other books it made the story that more enjoyable. Great narration also.

A good listen
This is the 3rd series by Julie Trettel that I’ve started listening to and it’s every bit as good as the others, I’m looking forward to listening to all the other books in the ARC series.

no excitement here
This was a very boring audiobook, I am disappointed and would not recommend. There is no action, very predictable. I could not force myself to finish this.
