Good short story but ....

intriguing but not well narrated.....really poor at women's voices. better to just read the 'she said' than try to imitate Steve!

Value for money

A short story that I had never heard of before. So we'll worth the 60p.

So short-always wear your glasses when ordering on Audible

I am a long term Paul Temple fan and was excited when I saw this as it was a new title to me. I ordered it without realising it was only 14 minutes long. Not really worth 1 credit @ £7.99 and it was a very thin plot and rather disappointing all round. I am sure Paul would have agreed. “By Timothy” he would have uttered.

story far too short.

this is not so much a story as a paragraph. I bought it thinking that it was a full story. it is not.

Glad it was only 86p

The story itself was very short. The intro was quite long. It was like the start of a story rather than a real story. It didn’t conclude or say anything about what the “mission” had been. Steve sounded whiney and made out to be a bit stupid in this story really. More so than in the plays. I was underwhelmed!
