About this listen

Paul, Silas, Timothy and Luke visited Philippe and founded the first church in Europe on Paul's second missionary journey around AD 50 (Acts 16:11-40).

This letter was written in about AD 61 from Rome while Paul was under house arrest.

He writes from a place of strength and joy to encourage his dear friends in Philippi, who were also facing many contradictions.

Words so rich and deep in meaning.

This Mirror translation and commentary is so rich with depth of meaning. Each sentence accompanied by the commentary denotes an endeavour to draw out as much of the meaning as can be accomplished by the writer. The extra descriptions and teasing out of the words used in the original language helps to reveal more of the depth of God's love that would otherwise be missed. It is easy to
listen to and the reader does not get lost in commentaries with any highfalutin jargon. It reveals a broader understanding of the freedom and joy made available in the salvation plan. I would highly recommend this audio book as well as the current New Testament Mirror Bible in paperback.

Need the full new testament version on Audible

Exceptional, would just change the narrator voice. Would reach a larger audience if they did.

"I am" -ness, Christ in you, in me, in everyone.

Since realizing that everyone is already included in Christ,
my entire being—body, mind, soul, and spirit—
has plunged into the depths of God’s boundless ocean,
the limitless embrace of the Father.
An embrace overflowing with love, joy, and eternal peace.

I have discovered the everlasting wellspring of life.
Its streams have swelled into mighty rivers,
flowing outward to all creation.
I am no longer thirsty,
but continually drink from the Father’s—Daddy's—limitless life,
nourishing me in the deep rest places of my soul.

In this divine revelation, I have awakened to my "I am"-ness,
synchronizing with the Creator of all things,
the Restorer of all things.
It is better than we ever thought,
more beautiful than we could imagine—
and it is for all of us.

There will be no lost sheep at the end of it all,
just a wondrous tapestry of creation,
woven with vibrant colors and radiant hues,
forming a chorus of everlasting joy and peace.
A harmony that grows richer and fuller,
better and better, without end.
Bliss upon bliss.

This is not just for some distant time—
it is for now.
Eternity is now, in this physical body,
dwelling in perfect union with the God of the cosmos.
