About this listen
The Pimsleur® Method: the easiest, fastest way to learn a new language. Completely portable, easily downloadable, and lots of fun. You’ll be speaking and understanding in no time flat! Polish Phase 1, Units 26-30 build on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Polish. Reading Lessons are included at the end of Unit 30 to provide you with an introduction to reading Polish. These lessons, which total about one hour, are designed to teach you to sound out words with correct pronunciation and accent. A Reading Booklet to be used with the audio lessons is also included in PDF format.

Relearning childhood Polish
My parents were Polish and I spoke the language as a child but not as an adult. Consequently, this course was easier for me than for a complete newcomer to the language and I was able to complete the 30 lesson course in about a month. Polish grammar is notoriously difficult so I expect I would have struggled otherwise. I suspect that complete newcomers would have to repeat lessons several times and would need other learning materials to explain the grammar (which came semi-automatically to me). The course has an incremental structure, meaning that each lesson contains a blend of recapping and new content. It is heavily biased to the spoken language (conversation) with spelling featuring only in the last module of five lessons. On the basis of this course, I think that the "Pimsleur method" is a sound one. Just two gripes (1) Polish has two conversational modes - formal (when being deferential or talking to strangers) and informal (when talking to family, friends, colleagues, etc). This course teaches only the former, and (2) there is no "intermediate" course to move on to. Overall, highly recommended.

This is reading practice, not new lessons
I am very dissappointed by this unit 26-30. These are not new lessons as the description would have you believe. It is reading exercises covering all the previous audio books. This is not how other Pimsleur courses worked. I have done 5 levels of German and not once was an entire 5 lesson package simply reading exercises of previous lessons. Additionally I can not work out where the reading material can be found when you purchase with audible.
