Another amazing listening!
Interesting stories of important historical women told in a very engaging fashion. The narrator obviously enjoys and is knowledgeable about what she is discussing making it a compelling, sometimes humorous, and absolutely fascinating audiobook. I look forward to listening to more works of the author.

How to make history engaging!
The examples selected all clearly lived up to the description of "powerful", and I really enjoyed learning about them from this lively and fascinatng book.
Prof Armstrong came across as the sort of teacher I wish I'd had - engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, passionate and very well-informed. This doesn't sound like someone reading from a scripted lecture, but like someone talking from memory with passion, walking around the auditorium and waving her arms about for emphasis!
