About this listen
Find out what your partner—and your baby-to-be—wish you knew about their journey.
Between preparing your finances, juggling work, and babyproofing your home, a first-time parent’s to-do list seems endless, and it’s easy to get lost in the whole process. Some expectant dads even fear that their partner’s pregnancy and birth will put a strain on their relationship. After all, her full attention will be devoted to the baby. This means less time for herself, and for you.
But this does not have to be your story. In fact, pregnancy can strengthen a couple’s bond and bring them closer than ever. What will spell the difference is the love and support you give your partner throughout this journey. That’s where this book comes in. It’s a practical, easy-to-follow guide that is written to help any first-time dad face each phase of the pregnancy.
Inside, you will discover:
- A month-by-month guide on what to expect so you don’t have to go through each stage blindly.
- What she really feels while carrying your child–with fool-proof tips to help her deal with any physical or emotional changes.
- More than 30 things you must buy and prepare before the baby arrives–don’t skip chapter four if you want the coming months to be smooth sailing.
- A thorough account of your baby’s development in the womb (find out which month they’ll grow as big as an eggplant!)
- Personal stories of first-time fathers–get first-hand tips and discover their mistakes so you don’t have to repeat them.
- Self-care tips for dads-to-be in each chapter. Dive into fatherhood with a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
- And much more!
To say that fatherhood is a life-defining moment is an understatement, especially for first-time dads. But once you know how to effectively deal with all the stressful moments of your partner’s pregnancy, you can focus on what really matters: the arrival of your new baby.
Rock your new role as a father!

Cool Book for Dads
Pregnancy Guide for Men: The A–Z Handbook for First-Time Dads is such a helpful guide for us as we enter into this new part of our life. The book is broken up into four sections; first, second, and third trimesters then it goes into birth and beyond. The book details what’s going on with the baby and with the mom during each of these stages. Of course, from our side of things, it is neat to be able to follow all these hormonal changes happening to our spouse and all the cool things happening to the baby. The author does a ton of research and brings all these facts together in one place. I enjoy the personal story from the first-time dads’ mixed in the book. At the end of the day I think we all dream of being super dad, and I think this book is an absolute must-have to help us get to that point. I highly recommend this for any new dad or even someone having a second or third baby.
