Summary

Austen’s classic tale of love and values in the class-conscious England of the late 18th century. The story follows Elizabeth Bennet, one of five sisters, as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education and marriage in landed-gentry society.

Oh no -it's read by an American...

Downloaded this for my OU course but feel like I'm listening to Pollyanna. Was expecting something beautifully mellifluous with an English accent frankly. Apologies to any Americans reading this review - suspect you'd feel the same if it were Raymond Chandler with a Scottish accent.
