Summary

Enjoyable
I listened to Pride and Predudice over a weekend. It is many years since I read it as part of my GSE. I enjoyed the story much more than I did all those years ago.

Classic
Absolutely gripping story. Loved this dramatic love depiction and most of all surreal dialogues. A truly entertaining performance from Rosamund Pike.

Wonderful!
I've always loved Pride and Prejudice, it is by far my favourite book but I've only every listened to abridged versions until now. Jane Austen's full book is a masterpiece, fun, sad and a masterclass in not judging anything by the outward appearance, you never know what lies beneath.

Wonderful performance
Rosamund’s performance, especially the voices, adds so much depth to the story. I have loved Joe Wright’s movie for many years but wish I had read the book sooner for the additional details of the story.

Amazing narration
Although I’ve seen the BBC adaption a million times, I could not put this audiobook down. Wonderful narration that made my heart ache every minute

Wonderful novel, perfect performance
I have listened to this performance at least four times through. This is such a wonderful story and is brought to life perfectly by the careful, expressive narration by Rosamund Pike. Wonderful!

Remarkable book and performance

A reading to treasure
Just as Jane's book can be reread many times so Rosamund's reading can be listened to with delight whenever you feel in need of the nourishment of the perfect account of love.

Such a wonderful story!
Ever since I saw the 6-episide BBC series of this story, starring Colin Firth as Darcy, I've been a fan. But I had never read the book, so to hear it read so wonderfully and delicately by Rosamund Pike, made the story fully come to life for me.
I'm sorry, I'm a romantic, so I can go on for hours about it. But I won't, so you'll have more time to listen to it yourself.
