Good concept

Not as good as neutronium alchemist trilogy. Good concept though. Main character did go on a bit.

A disappointing book from one of my favourite authors

Sadly this series of books is just not that good. A bit of a let down from one of my favourite authors.

Captivated me from start to finish

Great show and really good narration. Tightly focused from the protagonist's view. Satisfying end it really feels like a sequel to the Greg Mandel series, not that it's necessary at all to read that.

An enjoyable conclusion to the Arkship trilogy

Much like the previous books in the Arkship trilogy, this one focuses on Hazel, Fraser, and the rest of humanity on the arkship Deadalus as they try to wrest control back from the alien Yi and make their way to their new homeworld. If you're listened to the previous two audiobooks then you'll know what to expect, and without delving into story spoilers there isn't much to add. It's a great conclusion, delivered with a quick pace whilst not skimping on some tech and world-building Hamilton is known for. Definitely a trilogy aimed at a more YA audience despite some aspects that could come straight out of an SF horror movie. Klett once again delivers a performance suitable for the protagonist and story.

Famous Five in Space concludes

If you've got this far, keep going. More of the same and very good it is too. Child friendly to boot!

Great story, awfully read.

Please don’t let this person narrate another book! She made the lewd character sound like she was stupid and needy all the way through. Wouldn’t have finished the series if the story line wasn’t as good.

OK but poor by PFH Standards

PFH has long been my favourite author and I have never been disappointed by any of his prior work. However I am here. This trilogy, as others have reviewed, is derivative and very average.
I don’t hate it but it is a long way from the numerous 5 star novels that he previously lit up my imagination with.

fantastic

I really enjoyed this and the other books in this series. I've enjoyed a number of series by Hamilton. I hope we have some more adventures with Hazel and Co.

A good but simply story

This is the last story in the Yorkship trilogy. It is a fairly simple story compared to some of the complexity of Peter F. Hamilton’s previous books. It’s a first person perspective from a young adolescent girl. Story follows her as she discovers some secrets on the ark ship, which is travelling to a new world. I was not impressed with the narrator when I first started listening to the trilogy, but over time I got used to her voice.

Great story read by Jane Austin's posh aunt!

I'm a great fan of P. F. H. and even though this is a young adult's trilogy I found it very enjoyable and great fun,
BUT!!! Audible/Amazon/whoever what the hell were you thinking? Elizabeth Klett?? They have been living for generations on a spaceship and you have her talking like she is in a Georgian tea room. who is responsible for choosing the narrators? this is so badly cast!
