Quercione è l'ultimo albero parlante rimasto nella magica Foresta dei Cinghiali volanti: tutti gli animali della foresta lo adorano e fanno affidamento sulla sua saggezza, dato che Quercione ha sempre una parola di conforto e un consiglio per tutti. La serenità nella Foresta dei Cinghiali Volanti però sta per finire perché dietro all'angolo c'è un pericolo nascosto: Lord Biscotto, il capo degli Orchi di Monte Puzzoso, ha dichiarato guerra a Quercione e agli animali e sta preparando la sua armata di Orchi per mettere a ferro e fuoco la Foresta. All'orizzonte si profila una dura lotta per la sopravvivenza stessa della foresta.

Lord Biscotto è convinto della superiorità del suo esercito, anche perché Falco Becco d'Oro, il protettore della foresta, è lontano per partecipare alla riunione degli Elfi. Si prospetta una dura lotta nella Foresta dei Cinghiali Volanti, una lotta che però riserverà una sgradita sorpresa ai perfidi orchi.
