Summary
Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, with five Champions League titles to his name. Yet his approach could not be further from the aggressive theatricals favoured by many of his rivals. His understated style has earned him the fierce loyalty of players like David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In Quiet Leadership, Ancelotti reveals the full riveting story of his managerial career - his methods, mentors, mistakes and triumphs - and takes us inside the dressing room to trace the characters, challenges and decisions that have shaped him. The result is both a scintillating memoir and a rare insight into the business of leadership.

What a politician
This is quite different to the normal football biography. Carlo's book its almost an instructional guide on how to deal with personalities at a club. Normally in this kind of bio you get some stories on a few players who the author did not get along with but Roman Abramovic and possibly Leonardo are the only people to take a bit of a hit.
Its very interesting to hear a different approach to the 'my way or no way' style that most managers preach.
I came out of this with a higher opinion of Carlo Ancelotti.

So good, i listened to it twice in a row.
Captivating book, great to listen to in the morning. Not as bloated as Sir Alex's recent forays into management literature.

Surprisingly enjoyable for a non-football fan
I wasn't sure what to think about this book before I listened to it. I don't follow football or any sport, however, I found it illuminating as a text for business managers.

Great book about Leadershi through sports
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Great journey through Mr. Ancelotti's carrier as a player and coach. Entertaining stories, well described relationships to player and owners.
If you are tired of ledership books with business examples, this is refreshing how you can enjoy learning with exaples of professional sport.

Great listen but a little repetitive
A great listen on the Carlo way, a little repetitive but well worth a listen. Some great stories on his time with Milan, Parma and Real Madrid.

easy listening motivational and inspiring
I struggle with names and don't know a thing about football but this book is about leadership, not football. sand the examples from football are illustrative enough - you don't need to know football to get it
