Summary

Lose yourself in the descriptions of pattern, texture, and color of fabric while hunting for antique quilts at yard sales, junk shops, and country stores.

Bedtime stories are narrated by the world’s most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don’t stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

This title is part of the Audible Sleep Collection, exclusive audio experiences created to invite relaxation and sleep. New and free for members.

A lovely short story that is read very well

A very calming story, the perfect way to relax. Excellent narrator keeping the mood and pace of the story slow and relaxed. Now I need to find a quilt of my own.

Fantastic - but seems to have moved??

Fantastic audiobook, have been listening to this multiple times a night (whenever I can’t get to sleep, or wake in the middle of the night) for a couple of years in the “included in membership” podcasts section. But last night it stopped working there and appeared as a book to buy using a credit instead. Not a problem for me, because I know it does the trick for getting me to sleep, so I’m happy to use a credit on it, but it was very confusing at midnight when I was trying to drift off with it and it abruptly stopped, then I had to search the library to find it. Hopefully there’ll be no such issues now it’s been purchased with a credit.

Wonderful — and free too!

I’ve listened to most of this sleep series and this is my favourite. It’s beautifully read, and the story itself is lovely. Repetitive and dreamy, and the descriptions of the quilted patterns are just enough to hold your attention while you begin to drift.
