Dream come true
Having my own chickens has been a dream of mine for years now and I now have the confidence to take the plunge and do it! This book was such a lifesaver and I would recommend it to anyone wanting homegrown eggs. What an informative book about raising chickens! But wait- there's more! Why have chickens without a garden? They pretty much grow your crops for you! This book tells you how to make their coop and protect the chickens from predators, get more eggs, and leave a smaller carbon footprint. There are so many practical details packed into this book. If you're gonna raise chickens, this book will answer every question you ever had about the subject!

Packed full of great information!
I have been thinking about raising chickens for such a long time so it was great to listen this book.
I really appreciated the thinking process at the start in terms of the commitment and working out if it is right…it helping me be realistic about it all.
I also had’t thought too much about the other benefits like composting and carbon footprint savings and the wider benefits beyond just the chickens themselves. And they garden for you!
The detail on which chicken breed, age and what to consider (even local regulations) were incredibly helpful - there’s so much included here I had not thought about and would not think about.
This really is a comprehensive guide and it certainly got me even more committed to this journey…with this audiobook in hand!
