Good
Personally I liked the background music besides for one chapter, it was fun to follow a long with and funny with the echo effects which can get annoying but still hilarious to me. My biggest problem was they wouldn't elaborate on things that needed slowed down for me but would do it on words I diddn't need. I would recommend it. If you liked the sample then go for it if not maybe don't pick this audio book. 👍 :)

It's like remembering song lyrics!
It really is that easy, i've even got my mum learning some!
The music in the background is great for just playing it whilst doing other jobs or lying in bed, very relaxing yet upbeat in times too. I find it doesn't get boring either like ones where there is no music, nice to add that touch and definitely helps with the learning process.
The topics spoken about are relevant to those going there, numbers, how to travel, how to ask where places are, how to order food and drink and more.
I am looking forward to purchasing the second one.
Plus the two narrators have great voices so it's easy to remember them saying it when you're out and about.
Definitely recommend!

Excellent trippy alternative music journey
1. British English ✖️10.000 gold stars!
2. Playful rhythmic dialogue with soft & smooth voices.
3. Never heard anything like it. Moments with natural dialogue, different types of repetition. Different pronunciations. Cultural advice.
Summary: It is a joy to listen to. It’s like rhythmic art poetry with music that moves forvard continuously.
IM SUPER IMPRESSED 👌🤩👍 love it ❤️

Background Music ruins it
The background music makes it sometimes hard to understand, would have been better without it.

A unique approach to learning
I like how they use music and synthesisers to repeat words. It helps me remember.

Seems good, haven't tested it yet
Very listenable and based on existing knowledge, the translations seem sound if a bit over simplified at times. Whether the knowledge stays and can convert into real life speaking and listening is still to be tested.

Quite Strange
[REVIEW IN PROGRESS]
I'm not sure if its just me, or not. I haven't finished it yet (given the length of the audio book which is great value) But I'm half expecting to hear this man and woman getting it on very soon with the way it's going so far. You could cut the sexual tension here with a knife. I hope by now they are both now happily married.
The vibe of the music is very strange and quite mysterious sounding as opposed to a positive catchy actual ear worm.
I get the musical element as a learning concept, but the voice tone of the Japanese lady is a just too effected and breathy for the most part, making it less clear and difficult when making out syllables etc and also distracting, like "What the hell is going on here?!"
