City girl Luce May's first year out of high school has been the worst. Very similar to 'A story of now'

If you haven't read any books by Emily O'Beirne then this is a fine book. However if you have, please note it is very similar to 'A story of now'. I am only half way through but think I might give up as I feel like I have heard this story before - too similar. The narrator does a good job - it is nice to hear an accent that isn't American.
