The book I needed!

Wow, this book makes veganism easy. I’d been a vegetarian for many years and went plant-based during the endless lockdowns. But after the initial novelty and fun of trying new things wore thin, I knew I needed support and more information to keep me on the path. I found this book that provided all the scientifically backed up driving forces for veganism. That got me excited and focused on my vegan journey and I have not looked back!

And it was so easy to listen to these two brilliant narrators. Whether you're a newbie vegan or not, I highly recommend this book.

It worked on me

This was an eye-opener even for a long-time vegetarian. The audio sound is crystal clear and the content is well organized, engaging, and very practical. The author is also a great writer with a good sense of humor.

The book is a very helpful guide for anyone interested on being vegan, ranging from how to react to people’s comments to recipes to dating.

First post-Covid book on Veganism!

Most impressive is the analysis and summary of plant Based Lifestyle for this new era. Covid changed everything and most other vegan brooks are now out of date. This one makes it all relevant and exciting as we create our new normal.

The narrators are crystal clear and have easy voices to listen to. I preferred the male narrator but that’s a personal preference. You get a free PDF of the book to follow on with the recipes that are in the back of the book. It is all thoughtfully produced.

Great production of a profound book

As a vegan already, there were lots I knew about before listening to this book. But it did bring the vegan debate up-to-date for a new post-pandemic perspective. The Beyond Diet chapter was also very powerful!

Honestly, how amazing is this book! Super easy to follow. I was so scared that I wasn't not going to be able do this, but this book makes it so easy. Can't wait to start my journey.

Secrets to staying motivated

I was blow away by how this book packed in so much information and yet was a delight to listen to. I eat mostly plant-based but will continue further on this journey with the support of this book. I will use the handy lists to stock my pantry with lots of vegan staples.

Creating A Kinder World

There are many big take-aways in this book that we all need to face so we can make informed choices. Besides the much trumpeted health benefits, the section on the environmental issues of animal agriculture was powerful. There is also a moving animal rights portion too. There is a huge toll of resources by raising animals for slaughter. Animals require much more resources and food than they can ever provide. And, yes, you can get all your protein through plants.

The recipes resources at the back of the book are a bonus, and they seem look yummy and easy to make. I see there is a free PDF of the book if you want to look at the many photos. The nutritional guide gave me the confidence to start eliminating meat and exploring veganism in a safe way and at my own pace.

I would recommend this book to anyone thinking of changing their lifestyle to a healthier one and one that is gentler on the planet.

Great gift!

I bought this audiobook for my niece and she loved it. This book is full of great info and inspiring stories and info to help you decide what diet is best for you. To help you align your ethics with your lifestyle. It is a fantastic and complete guide. I believe it answers all the questions and more about becoming a Vegan. Both my niece and I are rethinking the way we live our lives. Powerful stuff!

This book had given me the strength and motivation

It has been my goal to reduce my meat intake and eventually swap over to a vegan diet and this book has been a big support and inspiration towards that journey. Not only did it give me tools to build a plant based life but it had all the practical nutritional guidelines.

When first starting out on new life-changing journey, you usually feel lost and anxious. Here I felt fully supported and informed on how to start. The nutritional guide helped me prepare with the minerals and vitamins that I might need and what to stock in my kitchen. Then I followed the 4 step program to gradually reduce meat consumption and build my new healthier life. I am now ready to go out in the world as a vegan!

A daring read

I have dared many of my friends to read this book as I think is a convincing argument for veganism. It’s the best vegan beginners guide that I have ever come across with a full nutritional guide and a step program to reduce meat consumption. It is also up to date with information about how the Covid crisis has changed our lives forever and helps promote vegan values.
