A book that got me inspired
This was my first audiobook, one day I scrolled through audible for a first time read and here I find someone I like within the boxing world. Eddie is an energetic character and it was a joy to listen to his story once more. It also got me inspired to write my own book and grow as a person. As the book says “you have to be relentless” and after listening I couldn’t agree more.

Great motivational book
whether you like boxing or not you have to admire the lessons in this book, dedication, hard work always leads to success irrespective of the industry great listen to Eddie Hearn on the audio as really brings his passion for business and boxing.

Very inspiring book in worrying times
I listened to this book thinking it would be more of a story of Hearns Boxing history achievements, but it was more than that, it was an inspiring story of even though we are in the most worrying times for business, due to COVID-19, there are ways we can handle the crisis and come back stronger.
For business owners and workers alike this book for me was full of very good ideas and was different from the normal business motivational books, in the respect it could quote the actual ways Joshua came back from defeat and regained his title.

Great insight into what it takes to be one of the world’s top promoters.
The book was a great insight into Eddie’s personal and business life and the lessons and principles he picked up along the way to make it where he is today.
The first part of the book explores his upbringing and the early stages of his career where he developed the skills and competencies needed to make him successful at his eventual role at matchroom.
The rest of the book details the behind the scenes business dealings and pivotal moments in his career where he extracts the key lessons and takeaways gained from them.
Overall it was a great listen with a lot to takeaway about the inner workings of a promotion company, the boxing industry and just business advice all together. Eddie makes a fab narrator and is really easy to listen to.

Motivational and not too self indulgent
If Eddie Hearn was American he would be revered far more than he is here. Yes he’s a loud mouth but he’s hugely entertaining, I love the guy and through listening to this you begin to realise his persona has undoubtedly helped to drive more attention to boxing.
If you are thinking about setting up a business or looking for more motivation in your current job, this is well worth a listen, I felt more motivated to establish some goals of my own around seeing up my business after finishing this. Eddie’s enthusiasm and drive is infectious. I hope the bloke reads this as he gets so much grief.
The only downside for me was a feeling there perhaps was maybe too much around assuming everyone can be driven and relentless, if people aren’t exposed to parents who have these attributes, like Eddie had with his dad, it’s sometimes harder for people to develop these traits on their own.
But overall he’s pulled out a blinder, not too self indulgent either. An autobiography would have been too much. He’s only early forties.

Funny and interesting lesson
Half autobiography, half business lessons - this interesting listen goes through some of the key moments of Eddie's life (particularly in business) and what he's learned from those moments.
A really interesting and insightful book.
