About this listen
Space pirate meets Robin Hood in this edge-of-your-seat space adventure about an officer turned pirate.
When a tragedy makes his brother his enemy, Gage becomes a pirate captain who fills his time robbing from the rich Coalition and giving to the poor planets struggling to survive across the vast Macrocosm. But being a pirate comes with its risks, and Gage is hard-pressed to protect his crew and loved ones against the dangers of having enemies with bigger guns and faster ships. It doesn't help that he has a soft heart for damsels in distress and can never say no to a good adventure.

Space opera.
Any additional comments?
This is not a bad book. It's a bit like robin hood but in space. So there is some action/adventure with some romance. There are also dark moments. I found it slow to begin with but once it gets going it's OK. I would still like to find out what happens to the characters next.
Would recommend to those who love SciFi.

Adventures of a good space pirate.
Writing
An interesting Sci-Fi space adventure a bit like Robin Hood in space this is a fun listen for the most part with some darker more thoughtful moments
There are lots of different characters all of the different species and sometimes I found I a little hard to keep track of who was what species.
Cheree Alsop has crafted an interesting story that took a bit of time to get into but was worth it. And once it gets going the pacing is good. As we learn more and more about the main character and why things happen and the relationship between characters it gets better and better. By the time of got to the end of this book I was eagerly wanting to find out what happened next
Narration
Erin C Gray does a solid job enhancing this book with their performance they give each character an unique voice that conveys personality and emotion. The narrator is easy to listen and easy I to understand so no complaints there. I would happily listen to another book narrated by them.
